Today our group had a very satisfying and fulfilling day. We completed all of our projects, we had great fellowship, and we had a great end to our week of work.

 

One of the projects we completed was working on the pool bathroom stalls. We had previously completed the girls' side by adding more walls to allow the doors to fully close, and we did the same thing with the guys' side. We had to use leftover marble tile and old telephone poles as our building materials. It was a difficult job, but we got it done by working hard together.

 

  

Another job we finished was the shower room in the boys dorm. Previously we had finished installing ceiling in the hallways and prepped the room for new tile. Today, we finished adding the last of the marble tile, put in the ceiling, and added a divider wall to one shower stall. It was all hands on deck at the end for clean up; everyone did their part and we were able to finish all the work by 3:30.

 

 

 

Finally, we capped off the week of hard work with a well-earned trip to the beach. The waves were crazy, the weather was decent, and everyone had fun. We enjoyed a dinner after with some getting fish, others shrimp or clams, and everyone partaking in pineapple smoothies. It was a very nice way to sort of tie up the trip, and we’re all very thankful for what the Lord accomplished through us this week.
