COVID-19 UPDATE

In response to the order released by the Pennsylvania Department of Health on November 17, 2020, and our exemption as a religious institution, The Bible Chapel looks to Romans 13 and 14 – we are offering options for your safety to demonstrate love and care to one another.

Our South Hills Saturday, 5 PM service and Sunday 11 AM service will now be masks recommended, and we will continue to enforce social distancing with seating. Our Sunday, 9 AM service will remain a mask-required service, and we will continue to implement social distance. For all other campuses in Pennsylvania, the services that were masks required will continue to be masks required with social distancing, and the masks optional services are now masks recommended with social distancing.

Masks should be worn entering or exiting the building and Worship Center if no medical reason prevents it. Once inside and seated, socially distanced, you may choose to remove your mask, except at the Sunday 9 AM service, which is our mask required service.

Face masks are required for all services for Chapel Kids (except nursery) and Students. All staff and volunteers will wear masks at all times while in a Bible Chapel building.

Modifications for both inside and outside of our services meet federal, state, and local regulations including a touchless experience, hand sanitizer stations, and new cleaning and sanitation protocol.

To comply with the CDC social distance recommendations, our in-person services are reservation-only. Please know that your health and safety are our top priorities.

We encourage those most vulnerable in our church family to continue to worship from home. We love you and want you to be safe. Even when we are meeting physically, our commitment is to bring you an engaging online experience as well.

If any of the following situations apply to you, we ask that you please stay home and join us online.

  • If you are showing any flu-like symptoms
  • If you have had a fever of 100.4 or higher in the past 14 days
  • If you have had prolonged exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19
  • If you have any medical reason why you believe you should not be around others

Need to Know:

  • Our touchless experience includes online programs and online giving options. Offering bins will be located at the entrance and exit of the Worship Center. Download The Bible Chapel App to access online information.
  • We are excited to once again welcome our church families to Chapel Kids, Special Needs, and 56 ministries (56 and Special Needs at the South Hills Campus only). There are many precautions that must be implemented for the safety of children, families, volunteers, and our staff, because we care deeply for our church family. We ask that if you plan to attend on-site physical programs, you follow our Chapel Kids Health Policy and Safety Guidelines, as well as any additional direction given by staff or volunteers while on-site. Note that children's registration at the South Hills Campus closes on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
  • Chapel Kids and Chapel Students are still welcome to attend with their parents in the Worship Center. We encourage you to bring an electronic device with headphones for your child to engage in the Chapel Kids Online Lesson during service in the Worship Center.
  • South Hills Campus: Please arrive 10-20 minutes prior to the start of service. A team member will help you and your group find a seat with an appropriate distance between you and other groups/individuals. Note: external doors will open at 4:30 PM on Saturday and 8:30 AM on Sunday. External doors will remain open until 6:30 PM Saturday and 12:30 PM Sunday. Children’s, 56, and Jr. High will open doors and begin check-in 20 minutes prior to service on Sunday.
