Today in Spain the expected high is 100 degrees. The sky is a beautiful blue and because the humidity is low the heat is quite bearable. We started out our day with team devotions and prayer time and then left to meet up with Fede in the center of Cabanillas for a prayer walk. We prayed for the church and their impact in the community and we also prayed for the new building
and the renovation that is taking place. We specifically prayed for the architect and the contractor who are so vital in this process.

We then went to visit the new building site to see how things looked and to get an explanation from Fede on the layout of the building. It is very exciting as it will more than quadruple their current space.

Next we went to visit Fede, Lucia and their children at their apartment. Ken and Carolyn brought them some items from the states that they cannot get in Spain and they were very excited and appreciative to receive them.

After the Bible lesson we all headed down to the local park for a rousing game of soccer and for snack time. It was amazing to me to see how good these kids are at playing soccer - it is their national sport and it seems every kid has been playing since they were 3 years old!!
After the game, Carolyn Muckle shared her testimony to the teens and it was very impactful.
Back home to the house and in bed by midnight!
