Training Day

Posted by Team Leader on

What an exciting day we have under our belt!  It has been such a learning experience to hear about the cultural differences between the Hungarian culture and our own.  We started the day with an amazing breakfast provided by the hotel, and it was FAR BEYOND any breakfast in America!  The food was 100% fresh with tastes of Hungarian cheeses, meats, bread, and even whole comb honey.   Our training sessions were all about how to engage Hungarian high schoolers in games and group conversations about their own lives, to learning what groups we would be with for the rest of the week.

In the evening, we attended a Crew meeting where we heard numerous translated testimonies and a phenomenal sermon that was spoken in Hungarian and translated to us by our very own Jonathan L!  It was an amazing challenge out of Acts 3 to be bold in the Lord, and use Peter and John's example to be bold and transformed by the truth of the LIVING Christ, unbound by the world and strong in the Holy Spirit!  Please pray for us as we embark on our first day bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Hungarian students in Budapest and beyond!  Thank you for all your loving prayer and support.
