Painting, Parenting, Pollo, and Plantaines

Posted by Team Leader on

Today we spent the morning painting the new church building. Some of us are very good painters and some of us are very good at encouraging others. After lunch we went to another local village and shared the gospel. There were many people who claim to know Christ, but don’t actually have a relationship with him. We spent lots of time sharing what Christ did for us and how to have a relationship with him. It’s encouraging to see those who accept Christ as their Savior and we continue to pray for those who haven’t. There are many different religious doctrines present in these communities, but we pray that the truth of Jesus would soon overcome these false teachings. After dinner we went back to the church for a parenting conference in the evening. Dave taught and the rest of the team watched the kids. We love that despite language barriers kids don’t care if you can’t communicate with words, they just like to laugh and have fun.
