Joshua Brim-SimpsonDirector, Students and Sports Ministry, Wilkinsburg Campus
Joshua Allen Brim-Simpson grew up in North Braddock and graduated from Woodland Hills High School. His roots are deep here in Pittsburgh. He is a graduate of Susquehanna University where he earned a Bachelor’s in Communications. There, Joshua learned the art of communicating and when that converged with his life and the Word of God it became of primary importance to disseminate the Gospel. Serving his community became the bedrock of what it means to be a believer.
After serving for one year as an AmeriCorp volunteer Joshua taught high school full-time at The Neighborhood Academy for 6 years. Teaching students basic life skills became of primary importance for Joshua as he and his wife established a financial literacy program at the Neighborhood Academy.
Joshua lives in East Pittsburgh with his incredible wife of five years, Erin, and his children Eilis (2) and Eliel (7 mo).
