To get the diagnosis of “Cancer” is certainly upsetting, instills fear, and can be one of the most difficult things we face.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014 and as I look back, I have found David Powlison’s words to be very true personally, “Facing cancer the right way, we become true grown-ups—which is to say we become more childlike.  We learn to simply need our Father and the mercies of his only-begotten Son.  And we learn to simply delight in Him.”
