The Journey

For the past fifteen years, The Journey Ministry has been broadcasting the REAL, RELEVANT, and REFRESHING Word of God, through the teachings of Ron Moore.

At The Journey, we strive to share the unchanging Word of God with an ever-changing world to help encourage, embolden, and challenge our listeners. We believe God has uniquely gifted Ron to teach scripture with compassion and unwavering truth, providing practical application to life’s greatest issues.

But we do not want this to be just a one-way communication. The Christian walk is often difficult, sometimes discouraging, but never dull. As you travel this road, don’t do it alone. We want to hear back from you and walk this journey of life together. We hope to be a source of encouragement to you on . . . The Journey.

Drifting Away

Pay close attention to the anchor of your soul.
GeneroCITY

Generosity: an attitude of the heart that lasts the whole year through, not just during the Christmas season. Generosity is more than just writing a check, too. What resources can you use to show "GeneroCITY" to your city this year? We want to encourage you to start thinking of ways you can do this and then ... start doing them.

Threats to the Family

The cultural norm used to be a man and a woman getting married, having a family and living happily ever after. That standard is long gone.

The fight is on for biblical marriage, but citing statistics is not enough. We need to understand what the Bible has to say. Once these truths are settled in our hearts and minds we will have the confidence to pass them to our children and grandchildren.

Joshua

In a day of doubts and fears, of challenges and opportunities, you need the assurance of God’s power and guidance. The Children of Israel faced just such days as they entered the Promised Land. How they won the day with God’s direction and strength is told in the Book of Joshua.

Freeze Frame

In preparation for Easter, we will take a fresh look at Jesus…in real time. We will find that he is not safe. But he is good. He’s the King.

Owning My Influence

God is sovereign and we have to own our responsibility. God places us in strategic places at strategic times. He places us in families, relationships, schools, jobs, neighborhoods—all for a purpose.

More Than Words

The purpose of prayer is not to impress people, but to communicate with God. To remedy the temptation to impress, Jesus advised a prayer of solitude. And even when our prayer must be public, our heart should be locked in a one-on-one with God.

Fear: What Are You Afraid Of?

Sometimes fear causes us to freeze and never do that thing that God is calling us to do. It holds us back from being what God wants us to be and doing what he wants us to do.

Psalms

The Psalms are real and raw. The writers hold nothing back. There are times of great praise and thanksgiving when the writers seem unable to contain their worship. There are also times of questioning when the pain is unbearable. Through the Psalms our fears, anxieties, and disappointments are countered by God’s strength, peace, and encouragement.

Biblical Manhood

Today our families, the church and the world need Godly men more than ever.  Men who will stand for truth and righteousness.  Strong and courageous men who will live for Christ no matter the cost. But what does that kind of man look like?  How does he behave in a dangerous and darkening age?

Biblical Sexuality

Everywhere we look, we see evidence of how sex-saturated our society has become. Our culture doesn’t hesitate to put sexuality and sexual topics in front of us. But what about the church? Far too often, the church remains uncomfortably silent about sexuality. We need to know what God has to say about sex and how we can apply those truths to our lives.

Ancient Turkey was key to the growth of Christianity.  From magnificent Ephesus, where Paul preached and John is buried, to Nicaea, modern Iznick, where the Christian Creed was established, Turkey lends itself to unveiling the culture and history that necessitated the spreading of the “Good News” throughout the Mediterranean and prompted John to write his letters of warning and commendation from Patmos.
