Life Groups in Robinson
Welcome to Life Groups!
Life groups are the foundational element
of spiritual development and care giving for adults at The Bible Chapel.
That statement is not just a nice thought for a few isolated groups; it’s true for all ages, in all of our ministries, on all of our campuses, and for people at all levels of spiritual development. Life Groups are places of acceptance and safety; places where we help each other and encourage each other; places for imperfect people to love and be loved.
Life Groups are places where we do life together…
What do Life Groups do anyway?
Life Groups are made up of six to fifteen people who come together regularly to encourage and pray for one another, to develop friendships and to apply God’s Word to their lives. In a Life Group, you will find support, encouragement, prayer, and develop close relationships. In short, Life Groups are critical to the church because followers of Christ are meant to do life together.
What happens in a Life Group?
Groups meet for about two hours weekly or biweekly. Meetings include a social time, a life application study, sharing and a prayer time.
Do I have to be a member of The Bible Chapel, or be familiar with the Bible to join a Life Group?
Absolutely not! Life Groups welcome people with a willingness to grow in relationships with people, and to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word applied in their everyday lives!
