Committing to our family of believers

Commitment, Ownership, and Investment

If you're interested in becoming a member of The Bible Chapel, we are excited to help you take that step. Membership at The Bible Chapel is about belonging to a family of believers. More than that, membership is about committing to the church - the body of Christ.

As a member of The Bible Chapel, you agree to take ownership of our mission to develop followers of Jesus Christ, and of your own growth as a Christian. You are saying that you want to invest in our church and its legacy, and to pass along our doctrinal beliefs to the next generation.

Membership is not a formality, but a responsibility and a decision that you should consider thoughtfully and prayerfully.

Read on to learn the steps to membership at The Bible Chapel.

Complete a Living Grounded Study

Living Grounded is a series of 12 foundational Bible studies that cover the essentials of the Christian faith. You can work through Living Grounded in a class, in a Life Group or other small group, with another member, or with another member couple.

Complete the Membership Form

As you consider joining The Bible Chapel family, our membership form enables you to affirm your beliefs and decide whether they are aligned with ours. We encourage you to learn more about our mission and beliefs before completing this form.

Our membership form also asks you to share your personal testimony. Please plan to set aside about 30 minutes to work through the form prayerfully and thoughtfully.

Attend a New Member Luncheon

Come share a meal with us, hear more about our history and vision, and discover what it means to be a member of The Bible Chapel.

We hold New Member Luncheons three times a year - in the spring, summer, and fall - at each campus. Each New Member Luncheon is scheduled about four weeks before a Celebration Weekend, when we recognize not only new members, but also baptisms and child dedications.

Attend a New Member Recognition and Commissioning

When you join our family, we are thrilled to introduce you to the congregation and commission you to uphold the mission and beliefs of The Bible Chapel in your life.

There are no speeches required! We wish only to celebrate this important step in your life, and to mark the occasion in the life of our church, too.
