MOPS

Mothers of Preschoolers

"This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it...'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know' (Jeremiah 33:2-3).

Welcome to MOPS

We are glad that you have found us, and we look forward to meeting you and your children.

This year’s theme is "We are the starry eyed." To us, "starry eyed" means being awestruck; filled with feelings of fear and wonder; filled with awe - for the Lord, that is!

We will spend our year getting to know God more intimately, learning more about who he created us to be, and searching his Word for answers to the questions that we all have as women, wives, and mothers.

Frequently Asked Questions about MOPS

What is MOPS?

MOPS stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” and is aimed at meeting the needs of moms from pregnancy through the time their children enter kindergarten. Whether you’re urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, single, married, or have children with special needs, MOPS is for you!

What is a MOPS meeting like?

We fellowship, eat yummy food and listen to speakers on topics that are relevant to us as women and mothers. Together we help each other experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help, and spiritual hope.

Where do I go?

Please check in at the kiosks in the Children's Lobby. Childcare is in the nursery and surrounding classrooms, on the same floor as the Children's Lobby. We meet on the fourth floor, in Rooms 413-415. If you need help when you arrive, please ask!

Can I keep a child with me during the meeting?

Infants up to 6 months in age are welcome to come with you. Children older than 6 months are asked to remain in Kids Klubhouse, which is The Bible Chapel's childcare program for parents attending various meetings through the week. Kids Klubhouse has many fun things planned for the kiddos in their classrooms!

What do I need to know about child care?

We provide limited-availability child care. Starting on August 1, please register as early as possible to ensure your spot. We begin a waiting list once the childcare slots are filled. Often we are able to open up the waiting list, so be sure to sign up.

What if I can’t afford the fee?

The Bible Chapel MOPS has scholarships available. To apply for a full or partial scholarship, please complete the Women’s Ministry Scholarship Application
