Tentmakers

Tentmakers is our SHBC Men Christian Business Connections ministry. Tentmakers Ministries meets twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Locker Room (Room 180).

When?

Tentmakers will meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month @ 6:30 p.m. in Room 180 (the Locker Room).

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 13 at 6:30 p.m. We will kick-off 2009 with a review of the interest survey results and our plans for 2009. This meeting will also include networking opportunities.  Details on what food/snacks to bring will be available soon.  To help us plan our 2009 classes, please click on the following link and complete the survey: www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=7cpn_2bykJZXFUU3vLbHDA2w_3d_3d.

Tentmakers will:

1. Assist SHBC job seekers by making them aware of job opportunities.

2. Assist SHBC business owners or personnel managers by making them aware of job seekers.

3. Provide SHBC businesses with a forum.

4. Provide networking opportunities for SHBC men.

Why?

The Bible tells us to bear one another’s burdens, and unemployment can certainly be a burden. Because most jobs are gained through networking, we want to facilitate the matching of job seekers with opportunities. The person who could employ you, or the person who could fill the opening you have, could be sitting right next to you on Sunday morning.
