Let me briefly tell you about our church.
Forty-four years ago several couples began a journey. They began a church that impacted the lives of people, not only in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, but in the Greater Pittsburgh area and throughout the world. Today we carry on that vision.
God continues to use the people of SHBC to bring others into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and help them develop in their spiritual journey. We continue to hold forth the Word of God as the final authority for life and living. We strive to help people become connected in a biblical community and use their gifts to serve the Lord and others. We are all on the journey to grow in our worship of the living God and to share the life changing message of Jesus Christ with a world in desperate need of Him. We believe that the church—the Body of Christ—is the hope of the world.
