Recovery Ministry Volunteer Informational Meeting

Recovery Ministry Volunteer Informational Meeting

Date and Times: Thursday, July 19, 2018 - Tuesday, July 24, 2018

Location: Washington Campus, 34 West Wheeling Street, Washington, PA US 15301

The Bible Chapel is preparing to launch a recovery ministry this September, and we need volunteers who want to help others in the fight against addiction and encourage those who are affected by someone else’s addiction.

Substance abuse and addiction are affecting our local communities at epidemic levels, but they’re no match for God’s loving power and forgiveness. As followers of Christ, we are called to be the “salt and light” of the earth – to preserve and enhance the lives of others by shedding the light of Christ where there is darkness.

Whether you are an individual who struggles with addiction personally or you have a loved one that has an addiction issue, the Recovery Ministry is here for you. To find out more about what this ministry will involve and how you can serve, we invite you to attend one of our informational meetings.

  • Thursday, July 19, 6:30 p.m. (Washington Campus, Worship Center)
  • Sunday, July 22, 12:00 p.m. (Washington Campus, Worship Center)
  • Tuesday, July 24, 6:30 p.m. (South Hills Campus, Room 141-142)
