At The Bible Chapel, we are committed to developing followers of Jesus Christ so that we can stand firm in our faith and share it with others. Here’s what that looks like:

The WHAT: Living Grounded Study

Living Grounded is a series of twelve foundational Bible studies that focus on our relationship with God and the impact that this relationship enables us to have on others. Living Grounded is designed to be a catalyst in rooting one another in the Word of God; growing one another in our love for God and for each other; and developing one another as followers of Jesus Christ who can in turn develop other followers of Christ.

Living Grounded is also a journey – through the pages of the Bible, and of your life. This process takes time, like anything worthwhile does. When you’re done, you’ll embark on a new journey – living life as a grounded follower of Jesus Christ. Through Living Grounded you will:

  • Know Christ more deeply and intimately.
  • Build a spiritual grid to discern truth from error.
  • Discover more about who you are, and how you can live a life of meaning and purpose.
  • Gain the tools to help you maneuver through life’s twists and turns, and stand through life’s joys and challenges.
  • Learn that God never wastes your time. He always uses today to prepare you for tomorrow.
To complete Living Grounded, you’ll need to enter into a discipleship relationship or class.
The HOW: Through a Discipleship Relationship

Disciples are not created in isolation. Christians grow not only by studying the Word of God, but by supporting, encouraging, and providing accountability for each other. In fact, God created us to be in relationships with each other. That’s why the Living Grounded series is designed to be undertaken as part of a discipleship relationship.

At The Bible Chapel, we define discipleship relationships as significant, life-on-life relationships in which participants get to know one another and help grow one another. These relationships can take the form of:

  • One-to-one discipleship
  • Couple-to-couple discipleship
  • Life Groups – to study Living Grounded in your Life Group, speak with your Life Group leader. If you have questions, or if you would like to join a Life Group, contact
